| AC WENDY (Plant Pat. 18,340) Strawberry continues to look impressive with its early start and ability to hold its size. Only growers with the ability to frost protect should grow this berry as it is a sitting duck for frosty nights. AC VALLEY SUNSET is a patented variety from Nova Scotia thay ripens after Jewel, has large quality fruit, very good flavor, and the foliage is resistant to most diseases. MONTEREY is a patented day-neutral variety from California that is slightly larger but a little less firm than Albion. Monterey has excellent flavor, a nice color, and good disease resistance - except to powdery mildew. |

| Clancy bears its fruit in late June. The fruit is high off the ground which makes it less susceptible to the fungal diseases that usually attack late-season varieties. |
Sparkle was introduced in 1931 and is still a favorite medium sized berry for home use. |
Ovation is a new variety from Maryland. It has good resistance to red stele and few leaf problems. |
Albion is a newer patented everbearing variety that has the best flavor of any summer-to-fall type of strawberry. |
