Jersey Giant

Jersey Giant is probably the best known of the hybrid asparagus varieties. Giant is still one of the top yielding varieties although not as disease resistant as the Knight. Jersey Giant spears are bigger than Jersey Knight, but just as tender.

NOTE:

Asparagus plants are dug dormant and put into cold storage until ordered by the customer. They are then separated, graded, and bundled 25 per bundle. Large quantities are available in field run bulk containers. Most of our asparagus qualify as 2 year old asparagus, even though they are 1 year #1 crowns.
