This heirloom variety has some rust resistance and more female plants than the male hybrid varieties. Quality will be very good, but overall yield will be less than the hybrid varieties.

NOTE:

Asparagus plants are dug dormant and put into cold storage until ordered by the customer. They are then separated, graded, and bundled 25 per bundle. Large quantities are available in field run bulk containers. Most of our asparagus qualify as 2 year old asparagus, even though they are 1 year #1 crowns.
