Jersey Knight

Jersey Knight was selected for its disease tolerance to fusarium. It is the best of the Jersey Hybrids for replanting ground that has previously been in asparagus. Knight has a more open branch structure as compared to Jersey Giant and may be less prone to disease.
NOTE:
Asparagus plants are dug dormant and put into cold storage until ordered by the customer. They are then separated, graded, and bundled 25 per bundle. Large quantities are available in field run bulk containers. Most of our asparagus qualify as 2 year old asparagus, even though they are 1 year #1 crowns.
